"Our stay was perfect, the staff were so helpful and kind. The view from our room was once-in-a-lifetime. The afternoon tea and cakes were delicious and not too sweet. We would recommend staying here any time you’re in Yangshuo!! The pool was really warm in late October. Logistically, the hotel makes you feel like you’re at home. Laundry machines are available. Deliveries to the hotel from Meituan were easy, and the hotel has a nice breakfast every morning so you don’t have to leave paradise if...

"We had the room with a big square bath and balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was of a high standard, all the gadgets for lighting and air conditioning to make it comfortable during a September, very humid stay. Room cleaned and restocked really well each day. Staff on reception really helpful but you will need a translation app if you need to speak English but this was fine and wasn’t a problem, the staff in the cafe next door were really lovely and friendly. Great juices, just a few...

The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo

Guilin

10/10 Excellent

This is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. The hotel is welcoming and helpful in planning tours around the area. Hotel staff is efficient and English is widely spoken. Really enjoyed the breakfast offerings especially the freshly squeezed juices which is included with your meal. Hotel is nicely decorated with a bamboo theme throughout the facility. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo.

The customer service was absolutely outstanding. They front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Siao Chou (小周) and Ting Ting (亭亭). They went out of their way to provide us with specific information about local tourist destinations and how to navigate the city. Our Guilin visit went well because of them. The only issue we had was the hotel only had one washer and dryer. They were mostly occupied during early morning and night.

Li River Resort

Guilin

10/10 Excellent

Everything about this resort was exceptional. Our well-appointed, beautifully decorated rooms offered balconies with lovely views of the karst peaks and the Li river. The vista reminded me of a Tahitian lagoon, and in the morning when birds were singing it seemed like Paradise! Comfortable beds, good air conditioning and a quiet environment made for a restful stay. The excellent all-day restaurant offered us some of the best meals of our 22 day trip through China. Both the lobby and the...
